USA Weekend voted Sedona "The Most Beautiful Place in America", and we couldn't agree more! Approach Sedona from the north and you will be rewarded by one of the most scenic drives in America. Descend 2500' from the top of the wooded canyon that is Oak Creek. Savor each moment as you navigate your way around the many hairpin turns. As you emerge from the cool canopy of the canyon and round a bend, you will be greeted with an awe-inspiring sight!

Suddenly, you will be surrounded by the towering red rocks that have made Sedona famous. Pull off onto one of the many scenic overlooks, catch your breath and drink in the overwhelming beauty before you.

Making your way toward 'uptown' Sedona, cross Midgley Bridge and watch as 'Steamboat Rock' rises up on your right. As you reach the center of town, stop and take in the panoramic vistas. You will be greeted by the likes of 'Snoopy Rock', 'Camel Head' and giant Wilson Mountain.

It is estimated that over four million visitors come to Sedona each year, making it the second-most visited attraction in Arizona. Its popularity is rivaled only by that of the Grand Canyon.

Hollywood discovered Sedona in the 1950's. Since then, Sedona has been the backdrop for more than 70 movies starring the likes of John Wayne, Joan Crawford and James Stewart.

Sedona's 4,500 ft. elevation and temperate climate are what makes this place the 'land of four mild seasons'. Sedona averages 300 days of sunshine per year, making it one of the premiere places for all types of outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, golf, and jeep tours, along with visiting the many vortex sites, State Parks and historic National Monuments are just a small sampling of the adventures that await you in beautiful Sedona.

After spending your days hiking the red rocks, exploring Indian Ruins or strolling through the many impressive art galleries and eclectic shops, you can retreat to the sanctity of one of our many luxurious resorts or bed & breakfasts. Pampering yourself with a relaxing spa treatment or dinner at one of Sedona's many gourmet restaurants is the perfect way to end your day.

From the cool waters of Oak Creek to the towering, fiery red spires, your time here will leave you feeling renewed, rejuvenated and inspired.
